Ayodhya: Babri Masjid Veridct & History








The Allahabad High Court today ruledby majority that the disputed land in Ayodhya be divided into three parts to be distributed among the Sunni Waqf Board, Nirmohi Akhara and the party for 'Ram Lalla', say lawyers. The ownership of the disputed site is to be divided into three parts: the site of the Ram lala idol to Ram, Nirmohi Akhara gets Sita Rasoi and Ram Chabutara, Sunni Wakf Board gets the rest. The verdict in the title suit will be a landmark one particularly for Justice D V Sharma, who is set to demit office on Friday. The other judges on the Lucknow bench of the High Court are S U Khan and Sudhir Agarwal.


The Allahabad High Court on Thursday ruled by a majority verdict that the disputed land in Ayodhya be divided equally into three parts among Hindus and Muslims and that the place where the makeshift temple of Lord Ram exists belongs to Hindus.

The following is the verdict of the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad high in brief:

Whether the disputed site is the birth place of Bhagwan Ram?

The disputed site is the birth place of Lord Ram. Place of birth is a juristic person and is a deity. It is personified as the

spirit of divine worshipped as birth place of Lord Rama as a child. Spirit of divine ever remains present every where at all times for any one to invoke at any shape or form in accordance with his own aspirations and it can be shapeless and formless also.


History

Babri Masjid

Babri Masjid or Mosque of Babur was a mosque in Ayodhya, a city in the Faizabad district of Uttar Pradesh, on Ramkot Hill ("Rama's fort"). It was destroyed in 1992 when a political rally developed into a riot involving 150,000 people,[1] despite a commitment to the Indian Supreme Court by the rally organisers that the mosque would not be harmed.[2][3] More than 2,000 people were killed in ensuing riots in many major Indian cities including Mumbai and Delhi.[4] The mosque was constructed in 1527 by order of Babur, the first Mughal emperor of India.[5][6] Before the 1940s, the mosque was called Masjid-i Janmasthan ("mosque of the birthplace") acknowledging the site as the birthplace of the Hindu deity, Lord Rama.[7] The Babri Mosque was one of the largest mosques in Uttar Pradesh, a state in India with some 31 million Muslims.[8] Although there were several older mosques in the surrounding district, including the Hazrat Bal Mosque constructed by the Shariqi kings, the Babri Mosque became the largest, due to the importance of the disputed site. Despite its size and fame, the mosque was little used by the Muslim community of the district and numerous petitions by Hindus to the courts resulted in Hindu worshippers' of Rama gaining access to the site. The political, historical and socio-religious debate over the history and location of the Babri Mosque and whether a previous temple was demolished or modified to create it, is known as the Ayodhya Debate.



Ayodya

is an ancient city of India, the old capital of Awadh, in the Faizabad district of Uttar Pradesh. Ayodhya is described as the birth place of Hindu god Sri Rama, and the capital of the ancient Kosala Kingdom. This Hindu holy city is described as early as in the Hindu Epics. Ayodhya has an average elevation of 93 metres


History of Ayodhya


Ayodhya is said to be one of the most ancient, magnificent and holy of Hindu cities. According to the ancient Hindu Scriptures, it is said to have covered an area of 250 km² (96 square miles)[citation needed], and was the capital of the powerful Hindu kingdom of Kosala (Kaushal). It is on the banks of the Gogra (Ghaghara or Saryu) River, bathing in which is supposed to destroy even the deadliest of sins. It stands on the right bank of the river Ghagra (or Saryu, as it is called within sacred precincts). The illustrious Ikshvaku of the solar clan (suryavansha) was the ruling dynasty of this region.
This city was ruled by 'Surya Vanshi' kings and it was the court of the great king Dasaratha, the 63rd monarch of the Solar line. King Dasaratha's son 'Shri Rama' was believed to be the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Lord 'Shri Rama' was born here. In the Atharvaveda, this place was described as a city that was made by gods and was as prosperous as heaven itself.

Saint Valmiki is said to have begun the writing of his famous devotional poem Valmiki Ramayana, also called the Ramayana. Other sages like Kamban and Tulsidas also wrote their verses of Ramayana in the praise and glory of the Lord SriRama and the magnificent city of Ayodhya. Saint Tulsidas' Ramayana popularly known as Ramacharitamanasa sings the praise & glory of Lord 'Shri Rama'. It is one of the most revered scriptures of 'Sanātana Dharma' which speaks of idealism, selfless devotion, & piousness. This divine religious text is a source of inspiration, enlightenment & bhakti for billions across the world. Several Tamil Alwar mention the city of Ayodhya. The opening chapters of the Ramayana recount the magnificence of the city, the glories of the monarch and the virtues, wealth and loyalty of his people. Ayodhya is also said to be the birthplace of King Bharata (The First Chakravarti King), Bhahubali, Brahmi, Sundari, King Dasaratha, Acharya Padaliptasurisvarji, King Harishchandra, Shri SriRama Achalbhrata, and the ninth Gandhara of Mahavir Swami.

The city is also important in the history and heritage of Buddhism in India, with several Buddhist temples, monuments and centers of learning having been established here during the age of the Mauryan Empire and the Gupta Dynasty. Ayodhya reached its glorious peak as known to history during the reign of the Guptas over India.

This city was also a significant trade centre in 600 BCE.[citation needed] Historians have identified this place as Saketa, a key Buddhist centre during the 5th century BCE (it is a widely held belief[citation needed] that Buddha visited Ayodhya on several occasions) which it remained till the 5th century CE. In fact, Faxian, the Chinese monk, recorded several Buddhist monasteries that he saw here.


Rama being welcomed back to Ayodhya, also shown him flying in the Pushpaka VimanaAyodhya has a historical significance for the Jain community too. This is the birth place of two important Jain tirthankaras who were born in the early centuries CE. Jain texts also stand testimony to the visit of Mahavira, Jainism's last tirthankar to this city. Ayodhya is also the birth place of five Tirthankars, including the first Tirthankar of Jainism, Shri Rishabh Dev. He is known as the father of the Jain religion.

Bhagwan Swaminarayan, founder of the Swaminarayan Sect of Hinduism lived here during his childhood years. It was from Ayodhya that Bhagwan Swaminarayan started his seven year journey across India as a 'Neelkanth'.

Amongst the 'Mokshdayani Puris' of the world meaning "the lands of spiritual bliss and liberation from the karma-bandhan," Ayodhya city holds a leading place, along with cities such as Varanasi, Dwarka and others. Ramcharitmanas and other respected Hindu scriptures like the Vishnu Puran, Shrimad Bhagvat Mahapuran and others emphasize the importance of living and visiting such religious places. According to them, these spiritually charged cities increase the Punya (or 'fruits of virtuous and righteous actions') and Paap ('fruits of a person's wrong doings') of an individual many times over. Therefore people visiting and living in such holy cities are found doing noble and virtuous deeds.

Today people from various religious faiths of Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam and Jainism live together united, making it a place of enormous sacred importance.

    In matters of archaeo-legal evidence of history,the cumulative patterns of archaeological evidence over 1000s of years are to be used - on matters of theological coordinates.

    I challenge the ASI to show a Phallic worship object dated to the 5 century BC - as there is none.All the tales of Shiva are from Africa and West Asia -
    wherein phallic symbols and kamasutra engravings are carbon dated to 2500 BC.

    Then comes in the ASI - which does controlled excavations.If Rama was an icon even in North or Central India - I can bet that the ASI has not uncovered a
    single Rama Temple dated to the 1st and 5th century AD.

    Madhavcharya called Ade Shankara a son of a prostitute and a liar and cheat and a quasi Buddhist.There is not 1 line in the magnum opus of Ade Shankara or
    Madhavacharya on any Rama birth place or a grandiose temple of learning at his birthplace.

    The truth is that if ASI digs in December 2020,in Ayodhya, it will find several sites which will have the name of Rama on the walls and murals - but it purposely maintained the status quo - to bias the judiciary.

    Even from the 5th to the 15 century, I can bet that that the ASI does not have a single site or artefact or cuneiform tablet or scripture or treatise -
    which even remotely hints of a TEMPLE EVER AT A RAMA BIRTH SITE - forget the site of the birth of the impotent gay pansy Rama

    Even the Mahabaharata does not have 1 word on a grand TEMPLE ON THE SITE OF RAMA'S BIRTH PLACE - EVER.Not 1 word.

    He that Ravana grabbed the lotus-eyed Seetha on lifting her up with his left hand at her plait of hair at nape, and with his right hand at her thighs. [3-49-17]

    ततः ताम् परुषैः वाक्यैः अभितर्ज्य महास्वनः |
    अंकेन आदाय वैदेहीम् रथम् आरोपयत् तदा || ३-४९-२०

    Then he whose voice is strident that Ravana lifted her up by her waist and got Vaidehi up on the air-chariot intimidating her with bitter words. [3-49-20]

    AND RAVANA DID NOT DIE !

    WHICH MEANS THAT SEETA MAIYA WENT WITH RAVANA WILLINGLY AS SHE WAS SEDUCED BY HIM !

    "My heart, which was subservient to me, was abiding in you. What could I do, helpless as I was, with regard to my limbs which had fallen under the sway of another?"

    Reddish and scented lotus-petals adorning that highly auspicious Seetha have slithered, but again upheaved by air they are bestrewn on Ravana. [3-52-16]

    NOTE - WHILE RAVANA IS BANGING SEETA - THE PETALS THAT SEETA WORE ARE NOW ON RAVANA ! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN ? HOW CAN THE AIR PLACE THE PETALS AND THE UPPER SAREE OF SEETA ON RAVANA ? IT AIN'T MAGIC ! IT IS SIMPLE SEX ON THE LAP !

    तस्याः कौशेयम् उद्धूतम् आकाशे कनक प्रभम् |
    बभौ च आदित्य रागेण ताम्रम् अभ्रम् इव आतपे || ३-५२-१७

    Upper fringe of Seetha's silk sari with golden glitter is upheaved in the sky, and with the reddish hue of sun in red heat of midday it beamed forth like a reddish cloud. [3-52-17]

    NOTE - THIS VERSE MEANS THAT RAVANA "REMOVED" SEETA MAIYA'S SAREE AND SHE WAS "STARK NAKED".A reddish cloud is acceptable either in morning or in evening but not in midday since it is a bad omen. A BAD OMEN FOR SEETA MAIYA

    सा पद्म पीता हेम आभा रावणम् जनक आत्मजा |
    विद्युत् घनम् इव आविश्य शुशुभे तप्त भूषणा || ३-५२-२४

    Seetha, the daughter of Janaka, with a complexion that is goldenly yellowish in the tinge of a lotus, moreover with her ornaments of purified gold, flashed like a lightning possessed in a dark-cloud, when that stonehearted Ravana possessed her. [3-52-24]

    NOTE - RAVANA "POSSESSED SEETA MAIYA"

    तरु प्रवाल रक्ता सा नील अंगम् राक्षस ईश्वरम् |
    प्राशोभयत वैदेही गजम् कक्ष्या इव कांचनी || ३-५२-३०

    She that Vaidehi who is so delicate like reddish leaflets of trees made that blackish bodied lord of demons, Ravana, well and truly lambent, herself becoming a golden girdle girded around the elephant like Ravana.

    NOTE - LAMBENT MEANS HAPPY AND SMILING AND SEETA IS LIKE A GIRDLE CLASPING THE ELEPHANT ORGAN OF RAVANA

    IT IS DUE TO THE ABOVESAID RAPE OF SEETA MAIYA THAT THE GODS "SHUDDERED"

    सुप्रवेपित गात्राः च बभूवुः वन देवताः || ३-५२-४१
    विक्रोशन्तीम् दृढम् सीताम् दृष्ट्वा दुःखम् तथा गताम् |

    On seeing Seetha who is undergoing anguish in that way the sylvan deities physically shuddered in a worst way. [3-52-41b, 42a]

    SHE GOT LOVE,SEX AND RESPECT ONLY FROM RAVANA !

    "Haa, greatly dextrous Lakshmana... oh, rejoicer of your mentor... you are incognisant of me who am being abducted by this demon who is a dissembler. [3-49-24]

    जीवितम् सुखम् अर्थाम् च धर्म हेतोः परित्यजन् |
    ह्रियमाणाम् अधर्मेण माम् राघव न पश्यसि || ३-४९-२५

    "Oh, Raghava, you have relinquished your high-life, happiness, and riches for the sake of righteousness, and though you avowed to protect your observants, you are unobservant of me who am being abducted by the unrighteousness itself. [3-49-5]

    ननु नाम अविनीतानाम् विनेता असि परंतप |
    कथम् एवम् विधम् पापम् न त्वम् शास्सि हि रावणम् || ३-४९-२६

    "Oh, enemy-inflamer Rama, I reckon that you are an absolute controller of uncontrollable beings, I wonder why you are not controlling this kind of sinner, Ravana, indeed?" This is how Seetha started her cry in wilderness. [3-49-26]

    आमंत्रये जनस्थानम् कर्णिकारान् च पुष्पितान् |
    क्षिप्रम् रामाय शंसध्वम् सीताम् हरति रावणः || ३-४९-३०

    "I call the attention of the flowered Karnikaara trees of Janasthaana, you inform Rama that Ravana is thieving Seetha." Thus, she is addressing the woods and others on the ground from air-chariot. [3-49-30]

    हंस सारस संघुष्टाम् वन्दे गोदावरीम् नदीम् |
    क्षिप्रम् रामाय शंस त्वम् सीताम् हरति रावणः || ३-४९-३१

    "I pray you who are with the bustle of swans and saarasa water birds, oh, River Godavari, you promptly tell Rama that Ravana is thieving Seetha. [3-49-31]

    दैवतानि च यान्ति अस्मिन् वने विविध पादपे |
    नमस्करोमि अहम् तेभ्यो भर्तुः शंसत माम् हृताम् || ३-४९-३२

    "I also venerate you, the sylvan deities that travel in this forest with diverse trees or, those that abide on the treetops, you may please inform my husband that I am being stolen. [3-49-32]

    यानि कानिचित् अपि अत्र सत्त्वानि निवसन्ति उत |
    सर्वाणि शरणम् यामि मृग पक्षि गणान् अपि || ३-४९-३३

    "Or, over there, some few beings that are living over there on the ground below, I seek shelter of all the flocks of birds and hoards of animals, and I pray you to convey this news. [3-49-33]
